till we ain't strangers anymore...

i am not a big fan of bon jovi, in fact, i practically flinch away from his songs.
it's a wonder that i won bon jovi's lost highway cd from traffic on traxxfm which was previously known as radio 4.
so anyways, my feelings for bon jovi still basically remains the same... with one exception. i love this song!
it's a duet with LeAnn Rimes titled "Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore".
It might be hard to be lovers
But its harder to be friends
Baby pull down the covers
Its time you let me in
Maybe light a couple candles
I'll just go ahead and lock the door
If you just talk to me baby
Til we aint strangers anymore
Lay your head on my pillow
I sit beside you on the bed
Dont you think its time we say
Some things we havent said
It aint too late to get back to that place
Back to where, we thought it was before
Why dont you look at me
Til we aint strangers anymore
Sometimes its hard to love me
Sometimes its hard to love you too
I know its hard believing
That love can pull us through
It would be so easy
To live your life
With one foot out the door
Just hold me baby
Til we aint strangers anymore
Its hard to find forgivness
When we just run out of lies
Its hard to say youre sorry
When you cant tell wrong from right
It would be so easy
To spend your whole damn life
Just keeping score
So lets get down to it baby
There aint no need to lie
Tell me who you think you see
When you look into my eyes
Lets put our two hearts back together
And we'll leave the broken pieces on the floor
Make love with me baby
Til we aint strangers anymore
We're not strangers anymore
We're not strangers
We're not strangers anymore
hope u'll like it too!

The 48 Laws of Power – Robert Greene / a Joost Elffers book
- never outshine the master
- never put too much trust in friends, learn to use your enemies
- conceal your intentions
- always say less than necessary
- so much depends on reputation – guard it with your life
- court attention at all cost
- get others to do the work for you, but always take the credit
- make other people come to you – use bait if necessary
- win through your actions, never through argument
- infection : avoid the unhappy and unlucky
- learn to keep people dependent on you
- use selective honesty and generosity to disarm your victim
- when asking for help, appeal to people’s self-interest
- pose as a friend, work as a spy
- crush your enemy totally
- use absence to increase respect and honour
- keep others in suspended terror: cultivate an air of unpredictability
- do not build fortresses to protect yourself – isolation is dangerous
- know who you’re dealing with – do not offend the wrong person
- do not commit to anyone
- play a sucker to catch a sucker – seem dumber than your mark
- use the surrender tactic : transform weakness into power
- concentrate your forces
- play the perfect courier
- re-create yourself
- keep your hands clean
- play on people’s need to believe to create a cultlike following
- enter action with boldness
- plan all the way to the end
- make your accomplishments seem effortless
- control the options : get others to play with the cards you deal
- play to people’s fantasies
- discover each man’s thumbscrew
- be royal in your own fashion : act like a king to be treated like one
- master the art of timing
- disdain things you cannot have : ignoring them is the best revenge
- create compelling spectacles
- think as you like but behave like others
- stir up waters to catch fish
- despise the free lunch
- avoid stepping into a great man’s shoes
- strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter
- work on the hearts and minds of others
- disarm and infuriate with the mirror effect
- preach the need for change, but never reform too much at once
- never appear too perfect
- do not go past the mark you aimed for; in victory, learn when to stop
- assume formlessness
